On February 28, the Georgian Film Academy organized a small anniversary at the Cinema House, dedicated to the People’s Artist of Georgia, known for his impeccable handwriting and his great taste- Lomer Akhvlediani.  A new video clip based on his films and the all-time favorite film – Pitcher (1970 – Director – Irakli Kvirikadze) were shown on the event.

His friends and colleagues: Eldar Shengelaia, Mindia Esadze, David Gujabidze, Igor Nagorni, Manana Anasashvili warmly congratulated Mr. Lomer on the anniversary. They talked about Lomer Akhvlediani’s great work and art. The evening was attended by members of Mr. Lomer’s family and by the Lomer Akhvledini’s Creative Society.
