
Dimitri Tsintsadze’s film “Shindisi” will be presented at the 35th Santa Barbara International Film Festival in the United States on January 15-25. Shindisi, based on real facts, tells the harrowing story of the 2008 Georgia-Russia war. The film stars Goga Pipinashvili, Dato Bakhtadze and Tamuna Abshilava as the lead actors. The world premiere of the film took place at the Warsaw International Film Festival, where it won the Grand Prix and Best Director Award. The screening of the film will take place on January 21, 22 and 24 in Santa Barbara. The Santa Barbara International Film Festival will be held this year for the 35th time. Over the years, it has become one of the major film festivals in the United States, which hosts 95,000 guests and screens more than 200 films every year. This year’s guests at the Santa Barbara Film Festival will be Brad Pitt, Laura Dern, Scarlett Johansson, Adam Driver and Renee Zellweger.
